For almost 100 years the world headquarters of the W.T. Rawleigh Company was an important part of Freeport's business community. Re-live the memory of the Rawleigh dealer visiting your home bringing all sorts of good things with these genuine Rawleigh products.

The Museum Gift Shop is open during the Museum's regular open hours—Wednesdays thru Sundays, from Noon to 4:00 PM. The Museum Gift Shop is also open at all special events, private tours, and by special appointment.  

All Gift Shop items can be shipped anywhere in the United States.  Print out an order form for shipping and handling charges. We accept Visa® and Master Card® credit cards.

Call the Director at (815) 232-8419 or send an E-mail with general questions about the Museum or specific questions on Gift Shop items. The Museum can special order many other Rawleigh products that are not normally carried in our Gift Shop. Call or E-mail us for a complete list of all the Rawleigh products available.

Antiseptic Salve

Originally advertised as "Fit for Man or Beast," Rawleigh's Salve was a staple in every home and barn. The 1938 Rawleigh Methods explains "It excludes and destroys germs and protects wounds from dirt and air. It softens, lubricates and soothes the skin and helps to reduce inflammation and soreness." Comes in traditional gold, red and yellow tin with Mr. Rawleigh's face on it.  5 oz.

Medicated Ointment

Famous as a chest rub during cold season, the pleasant odor and warm feeling will make your patient more comfortable quickly. The 1938 Rawleigh Methods gives three pages of uses, from chapped hands, insect bites, sunburns and even as a soothing after-shave. Comes in traditional blue and white tin. 5 oz.

Double Strength Vanilla

Special fire-proof vaults were built in Rawleigh's Freeport factory where the vanilla beans were stored in an atmosphere of uniform temperature and humidity until the valuable beans were ready for manufacture.

Cinnamon

The 1938 Rawleigh Methods recommends salesmen "Get a housewife to taste Rawleigh's Cinnamon and she will readily appreciate its spicy flavor. It is the best way to convince her that your cinnamon is superior."
