Become a Volunteer

 

There are so many ways to share your time and talents with the Stephenson County Historical Society!

Whether you’d like to volunteer once a week, once a month, at a special event, or just occasionally when your schedule allows, we’d love to find an opportunity that works for you.

​

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Giving museum tours

• Research and local history projects

• Helping with collections and archives

• Gardening and caring for our grounds

• Light cleaning and museum care

• Helping plan or work at special events

• Clerical and office projects

• Sharing a special skill, hobby, or area of expertise

 

No experience is required, and training is available. Most importantly, we want our volunteers to spend their time doing something they enjoy!
